Job Description: To assist providers and nurses in the diagnostic testing, examination, education and treatment of patients. Places patient in examining room, takes detailed medical history and determines reason for day’s visit. Obtains routine temperature, pulse, respiration, height and weight as well as blood pressure readings at each patient encounter as well as performs routine laboratory procedures. Is a member of the interdisciplinary medical team of the health center and a liaison between the front office staff, the laboratory personnel and nurse in the provision of care.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years of Medical Assistant experience prefable, not required
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Full time benefits after 90 day probationary period, hourly pay rate based on experience.
